Ferrets often get along well with other pets. This is especially true of many cats and some dogs, especially if the pets are raised together. Care must always be given when introducing one animal to another. Their behavior must always be monitored.
Remember, though, that ferrets are natural hunters, so you should not attempt to introduce them to hamsters, gerbils and similar very small animals.
