my carma, was only 3 years old when she got a blockage. she ate a piece of corn that had fallen onto the floor from the night before’s dinner. she got to it, and it blocked her intestinal tract. the surgery was $1500. That is not including the $500 of testing required. She ended up passing away the night after the surgery.
What exactly would that surgery be?

Wouldn’t people have enough common sense to know that if they want to get a tube so that their ferret can play in them it should be big enough so they won’t get stuck?
im saying the average ferret will need 1 surgery in their lifetime. unless you decide to put them down because of the problem, which happens a lot. yes there are exceptions. but it’s a known fact that they are prone to blockages, cancers and insolunoma.
