Is my 5 month old ferret sick?

i have a 5 month old ferret and she is female, her name is Rukia. After i took her a bath she started to act weird like tired and she is usually happy and playful (this was not her first bath). She looks fine but when i look at her again she doesn’t. i looked online what she could have but nothing shows on what she has.she has already gotten her shots the rabbies and distemper. but im worried that she could be sick. she falls asleep whenever i carry her. She is eating fine but im very worried about her and i don’t think she needs a vet, im thinking its only that she is tired but please help me. i don’t want Rukia to die she is still a little baby and i care for her well.

  1. take it to the vet

  2. First of all, you should not be bathing a ferret unless they get into something nasty. Bathing should be once or twice a year max, it strips their body of natural oils and their skin gets very dry, they produce more oil and they start to smell a lot worse.

Second, I wouldn’t take the way she’s acting so lightly. If a ferret is not playful, then it’s in a lot of pain. There’s really no grey area with ferrets, they’re either asleep..or wreaking havoc. If that’s the only symptom, and she really IS just tired…then let her sleep. They sleep about 18 hours a day.

  3. MoodSwings? LoL. My Ferret Was Like That, But Hes Back To His Normal PlayFull Self Again. Ferrets Are Usually PlayFull And Full Of Energy. If She Is Tired, Let Her Sleep. Maybe Just Give Her Some Time. Or Take Her To The Vet.
